Title

May 29, 1911 A

Subject

Manchester, Me. Hammonds Grove, Lake Cobboseecontee

Description

Notes: Apparently Abby W.Roberts collected post cards, a hobby she shared with Jennie. The handwriting is almost unreadable. Even the transcript of this short card has gaps. Lake Cobboseecontee is located west of Augusta. This card shows a view from the northern end. Lady’s Delight lighthouse is located on an island at this northern end of the lake. It was built in 1908, just a few years before this card was sent. I can’t find a reference to a second lighthouse on the lake.
